EvritFilms and Cinemax Announce UK Cinema Release of “GINGERRR” — A Thrilling Nollywood Action Comedy from Director Yemi “Filmboy” Morafa
EvritFilms, a leading UK film distributor, in collaboration with Nigerian distribution partner Cinemax, is proud to announce the UK theatrical release of the highly anticipated Nollywood blockbuster GINGERRR, premiering in select ODEON and VUE cinemas across the United Kingdom on 31st October 2025.
Directed by celebrated filmmaker Yemi “Filmboy” Morafa and produced by Cotts Production, GINGERRR is a dynamic action-comedy that combines adrenaline, humour, and heart in equal measure.
About the Film
Set in the bustling city of Lagos, Nigeria, GINGERRR follows the story of four women brought together by fate and desperation. When a daring heist becomes their only chance to escape the lives they know, the women form an uneasy alliance bound by vengeance and ambition. But as secrets surface and hidden agendas collide, loyalty turns to betrayal in this gripping, high-energy tale of courage, wit, and survival.
Written by Xavier Ighorodje, GINGERRR features an all-star Nollywood cast, including Kiekie, Wumitoriola, Bisola Aiyeola, Bolaji Ogunmola, Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson, Odunlade Adekola, Shaffy Bello, Blossom Chukwujeku, Ogogo, Mr. Macaroni, and Faithia Williams.
The film, performed in English and Yoruba, has a total runtime of 2 hours 30 minutes and showcases the vibrancy, resilience, and ingenuity of modern African cinema.
UK SCREENING DETAILS
EvritFilms will provide a screening package with ODEON and VUE Cinemas for GINGERRR across the following proposed UK locations. Final confirmed showtimes will be announced one week before the release date.
